Strato Privacy policy

This policy covers Strato - Sticky Add to Cart and any other app published by Strato Apps on the Shopify App Store. It explains what we collect, what we deliberately do not collect, and how to reach us.
The short version. Strato - Sticky Add to Cart runs entirely inside the shopper's browser. It has no server and no database of its own. We do not collect, store, or receive personal information about you or your customers.
What the app does not collect
The app does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses
- Payment or card details
- Order history or cart contents
- Customer accounts or login details
- IP addresses or device fingerprints
- Browsing behaviour across other websites
The app does not set cookies, and it does not use third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics services on your storefront.
What we do receive
When you install the app, Shopify gives us basic information about your store, such as your store's domain name and the country and language settings your store uses. We use this only to provide support and to understand which app versions are in use. We ask Shopify for the minimum access the app needs to work.
If you email us for support, we hold your email address and the contents of your message so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.
Product information shown in the bar
To display the sticky bar, the app reads product information that is already public on your storefront page — the product title, image, price, and available variants. This is read in the shopper's browser and is used only to draw the bar on that page. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
Where your data is held
Your store data stays with Shopify. We do not copy it into a database of our own. Support emails are held with our email provider.
How long we keep things
Because the app stores nothing, there is nothing to delete when you uninstall. Removing the app from your store ends our access to your store information immediately. Support emails are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
Your rights
If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or another region with similar laws, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to how we use it. Email support@stratoapps.io and we will respond within 30 days.
Shopify also sends us formal privacy requests on behalf of merchants and their customers. We handle those the same way, within the same 30 days.
Children
Our apps are business tools sold to merchants. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we add a feature that changes what we collect, we will update this page and change the date at the top before that feature goes live. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
